Patrick Hughes Martial Arts Biography

Patrick Hughes began training in Martial Arts over thirty years ago in Canada. Now he is Australia's only instructor in Burton Richardson's JKD Unlimited/MMA For The Street™, and an instructor in Floro Fighting Systems.

He has also earned teaching ranks in several styles, including 7 Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu, Ninpo Taijutsu, Filipino Martial Arts, and Jeet Kune Do. As well as Instructor Certificates in PPCT Defensive Tactics, Spontaneous Knife Defence, and Level 1 Boxing Theory & Practical.

He has also trained in several others, including BJJ, Savate,
Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Judo, and Western Martial Arts. Patrick continues to search out and train in the most effective and realistic martial arts.

Additionally Patrick is an Authorised Teacher of Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement®.
